Description
Project Managers/Business Analysts are expected to take responsibility for projects on a day to day basis. They may manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Project responsibilities include:
- Lead specific projects and tasks within program
- Provide input and help produce the materials for senior management meetings / steering committees / working groups
- Participate in and document the output from workshops with stakeholders across the IB
- Work with CRO IT to design and implement target state risk data, process and technology architectures.
- Communicate and coordinate across the wider CRO on business and functional analysis of system and process change required to support strategic and regulatory changes
- Responsibility as key point of contact between the FOIT, CRO IT and the wider CRO to facilitate delivery of strategic change and aid issue resolution to enable projects to advance
- Aligning business processes and technical architecture to business needs
- Ensuring that projects are effectively prioritized across the division and resources are allocated accordingly
- Develop and produce key metrics to track the program
- Track project benefits are being realized
Qualifications experience
- PMI Certification /Prince 2 or similar methodology preferred
- Line or project management experience either with a leading consulting firm within financial services or an International investment bank
- Strong knowledge of investment banking processes – front to back
- Experience in Market Risk (either line or project management / business analysis)
- Has been involved in managing change throughout full project lifecycle
- Experience of dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience in achieving results in a project context using resources that do not report directly to you (e.g. from clients, from other departments, external suppliers)
- Solid knowledge of IT: managing IT-oriented projects, user’s requirements / testing.
- Understanding of IT oriented methods and approach
- Extremely strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of technical processes – must have interfaced with technology groups and IT implementations
- Formal project management and presentation skills
- General business analysis and problem solving skills
