VP
Being the lead of the support group, you will ensure highest availability of all mission critical applications from front to back office and ensure that SLA's are met and problems are being resolved or attended.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or Master's degree in ComputerScience, or Information Technology is preferred
- Min 10 years of working experience with proven track record of managing a L1/L2 Support team in a global production team environment in investment banking environment
- Essentially, the person must have a thorough understanding of financial market application and relevant system and user support for investment banking industry.
- Exhibits strong problem solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Mandarin.
- Demonstrated ability to work with different applications supported within financial markets.
- Comfortable and confident providing clear problem descriptions and guidance to senior business management in a time critical environment.
- Must be willing to relocate to CHINA
Technologies required :
- Proficiency in Unix
- Oracle or SQL Server
- Scripting languages
- J2EE and web related technologies
- Previous experience in Java programming or exposure to ETL Data Warehousing
- Exposure to multi-tier systems be it in application server, middleware or backend
- Thorough understanding of ITIL based on service operation standards and process.
