VP, ABCP Origination, Bulge Bracket Bank
Our client is looking for a candidate in the origination, structuring, marketing and placement of Asset Backed Securities (ABS) and Asset Backed Commercial Paper (ABCP) deals to our customers. This individual will also be expected to originate, promote and support the start-up of our ABS business.
· Originate, structure and execute securitizations backed by a variety of assets, with an emphasis in aircraft transactions, consumer loans, trade receivables and commercial loans.
· Direct investor contacts preferred and experience in the syndicate and placement, execution process with the U.S. public and private markets (144A and Reg D).
· Build and maintain strong relationships, with Institutional Investors.
· Support the development of ABS team in cooperation with existing members of the group.
· Ability to understand and promote the mission of the group.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience related to marketing, negotiation and closing of Asset Backed transactions and a proven track record in syndicating and placing securitizations. Successful candidates will also have the ability to service both corporate issuers and investors as well as have the ability to utilize available resources in order to identify, build and establish new relationships.
· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.)
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience related to marketing, negotiating and closing ABS transactions required. ABCP experience preferred.
· Aircraft transaction experience preferred.
· 2-3 years of corporate finance (in marketing/originations) or equivalent experience preferred.
