VP – Application Development Manager (Banking) – China recruitment
Responsibilities:
As a application development manager, you will manage a sizeable team comrpises of team lead, application designer / architect, lead developers as well as developers to design, develop , and implement a no of global investment banking applications on front to middle office.. You will also be responsible to ensure project project management practices and standards are followed, managing project risks, high quality of deliverables (documentations, business requirements, codes), timely delivery and cost effective solutions. The manager will also be responsible to manage / interact with various business stakeholders globally.
Requirements :
- Min 10 yrs of experience in application development, with min 5 yrs in management role and has managed application development in investment banking environment
- Proven experience in managing large application development team in a structured project management standards such as CMMI / Prince2 with at least 5-6 large scale complete project development lifecycle.
- Min 3 years of working experience in investment banking
- Good knowledge of Java best programming practice and standards, and prefer to be someone who understands OO and design pattern
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
- Good leader and able to inspire
- Organized, methodological and people manager
