VP – Architect – Low Latency Trading Systems recruitment
Our client an established global financial institution is seeking high calibre application architect to join their core global market front office development team. The Front office system developments team comprises of individuals with excellent delivery track records of developing multi-tier low latency application which is to be rolled out globally. The individual will play the application architecture role with main task to design robust architecture for the development platform, playing the technicall leadership role for the team.
Responsibilities
- Design application architecture in complex low latency front office trading environment
- Providing technical leadership to the development team
- Reviewing and Enhancing the overall architecture
- Integrating the existing architectures with other application layers, and interfaces
Requirements
- Min 10 yrs with excellent track record in designing and developing applications in C++ multithreaded environment in investment banking
- Some experience in Java or c# will be a plus
- Proven track record of designing and development of low latency applications
- Excellent track record in developing front office trading applications
- Knowledge of at least 1 of the 2 asset classes (FX, Bonds)
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Knnowledge of trade life cycles and STP concepts
- Maturity to be able to deal with senior management / stake holders
