Roles Open for Application Security and Infrastructure Security
IT Security Professional is responsible for performing the vulnerability assessment; collating and classifying the security patches for various operating systems, network devices and commonly used application software; coordinating investigation and reporting of security incidents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform vulnerability assessment and penetration test using tools such as FoundStone, Nessus and WebInspect.
- Review the assessment results with the respective parties and consult with them on remediation options
- Research the latest security threats and vulnerabilities and help to disseminate this information within team as well as to other teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 4-6 years of working experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing / Infra Network security.
- A good knowledge of HTTP protocol and how it works
- A good knowledge in networking technology and network security is required (i.e. firewalls, IDS, IPS, VPN, TCPIP protocols)
- A good knowledge in security aspects of UNIX, Windows, Oracle and MSSQL is required.
- Working experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Foundstone, Nessus will be an advantage.
- Professional security related qualification (i.e. GCIA,CISSP etc) will be an advantage
