Our client is an established major bank with significant presence in Asia Pacific. It continues to garner multiple industry accolades and has consistently delivered strong financial performance. To support its expanding commodities trading business, it is now seeking a dynamic individual to join its product control team.
Managing a team, you will lead the bank's base metals product control team, directly managing the relationship with the business. You will be the subject matter expert managing the bank's physical trading activity, ensuring provision of independent, timely, globally aligned and accurate valuation of trading book position, exposure, performance data and analysis. You will be actively involved in new product launches, support local finance teams with product training and accounting policy, as well as have responsibility for balance sheet and capital reporting as it pertains to the business.
You are fully qualified accountant with strong product control experience supporting physically traded base metals. You have strong awareness of IFRS and the relevant controls and regulatory frameworks. You have strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
