VP, Basel 2 Reporting Project Manager (Implementation) recruitment
As the Project Manager your prime focus will be on project delivery for the Basel 2 Reporting Implementation, this will include working in partnership with the relevant internal clients, Regional Heads, Senior Global Management to define, deliver and implement strategies to aid in supporting business growth. You will be expected to take full, end to end responsibility for your project and this includes taking a hands on approach.
Responsibilities:
-Define the business requirements for the changes and work out a plan with the Change team and IT to deliver these changes; identify the impact on the global change plan
- Be responsible for translating product business requirements into functional specifications to be used by software developers.
- Act as SME on the Basal 2 regulatory requirements and play a key role in monitoring and interpreting Basal 2 Regulatory changes in the financial
- Ensuring a governance framework is in place and operating for risk, issue and dependency management
- Partnering with CFO IT and the CFO FinCon functions to define, plan and execute projects that deliver the solution across APAC
- Ensuring the business are prepared for use of new CFO processes and appropriately adopt the regulatory reporting solutions
Requirements:
Work experience of 7-10 years + in Banking
- At least 5-7 years project management experience
- Must have a project management qualification (Prince 2, PMI)
- Extensive experience working with Basal 2, either in line or LEAD significant projects relating to Basel 2.
- Must have understanding/experience of the Basal 2 accord and reporting requirements across market, credit and operational risk
- Assertive, being able to make expert decisions based on personal judgment
- Undergraduate degree in Business or Commerce
