VP, Basel/ Regulatory Reporting, Group Financial Control recruitment
The Role:
- Responsible for the preparation and review of Basel reports including variance analysis for Bank and Group
- Timely submission of Basel reports to the Authority
- Understand MAS Notice 637 reporting requirements to facilitate the preparation and compilation of reports
- Keep abreast of Basel II and III updates/requirements
- Participate in the review of new products to assess the impact on Basel reporting and ensure reporting requirements are specified in URS
- Participate in projects, system implementation and enhancements
- Identify, streamline and automate processes for effectiveness and efficiency
- Participate in the implementation of Basel III
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, Business or its equivalency
- Min 4 years exp in banking sector and has hands-on experience in Basel and MAS reporting
- Possess strong exp in Regulatory Reporting
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Mature, proactive, meticulous and tenacious, flair for numbers and hands-on
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- A team player as well as able to work independently
