VP-Business Analysis recruitment

Responsibilities
Individual will be responsible for managing Business Analysis work across team members, maintaining process and deliverable quality, and providing mentoring as needed. They will actively manage stakeholders at all levels, as necessary, by leading discussions of project scope and approach, advocating for a common understanding of project success and the successful delivery of useful, high-quality solutions. They will establish and maintain respectful, mutually supportive relationships with the business and with the implementation teams (including development, project management, QA, etc.). This individual will have standard management responsibilities for their direct reports including performance reviews, career management, training plans, etc.
This individual will occasionally need to act as a Business Analyst, performing the hands-on project work of providing end-to-end analysis for products and initiatives (including both enhancements and new development) with respect to workflow requirements and design, data requirements, data flows, and user interface designs within and across systems and provide detailed, high-quality documentation of all aspects of the systems in question.
Qualifications
The position requires the following experience/skills:
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
-At least 10 to 12 years experience in various aspects of systems development, including development, architecture, project management, business analysis, UI design, information architecture, data modeling, etc. with a minimum of 5 years in a Business Analyst position and a minimum of 3 years in a management position. Experience in multiple areas is required.
-Strong leadership skills across both single discipline and multi-discipline teams.
-Strong experience in multi-system application integration.
-Familiarity with multiple architectures: n-tier, NET, client-server, etc.
-Fundamental understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (including waterfall, RUP, and/or Agile) and industry best practices.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to author a range of high-quality deliverables, including Use Cases and UI Designs.
-Strong experience designing or implementing systems based on adaptive case management or workflow management.
-Proven ability to identify and interpret business requirements into application requirements and IT solutions.
-Proven ability to articulate complex application requirements and functionality to business and IT stakeholders
-Broad knowledge of capital markets and the role that Moody's Corporation plays within them.
-Ability to quickly and effectively adjust priorities and goals in changing circumstances.
-Proven relationship-building skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance relationships with customer and peers.
-Experience with a large, functionally diverse, and informed user base that demands high quality applications.
-Self-directed, adaptable, flexible, and curious.
-Candidate will be required to submit writing samples illustrating their ability to author a range of high-quality project deliverables.
Department
This individual will be part of the Enterprise Solutions team in Moody's Ratings Business Solutions group and will manage a team of Business Analysts who perform Business Analysis and UI Design for all Moody's Enterprise products and any initiatives that affect those products. This individual will also perform occasional individual contributor work as needed. Moody's Enterprise systems are used by the Moody's Credit Analysts to perform a variety of daily work activities such as assigning and disseminating ratings and authoring research documents.
