Our client is a global leader in card and electronic payment services / solutions provider with a well-established business in Asia. To further enhance customer experience and services, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Business Consultant to lead a team of experienced Consultants based in Hong Kong covering the Greater China region.
Reporting to the Asia Head of Business Consulting Group, you will manage a team of Business Consultants and Client / Merchants Servicing Specialists to support and manage Clients / Merchants' needs and requirements on payment solutions. You will be part of the Business and work with the Client / Merchant Servicing group business leaders on developing merchant strategies as well as to identify new business opportunities to expand revenue stream and services offerings. You will manage the Business Consultants to implement processes and systems enabling smooth transactions with the merchants and oversee the Servicing teams on setting up new merchant accounts as well as enhancing customer experience. As the leader of the team, you will also drive negotiations with bank partners and third party vendors on service level agreement, fees and service related issues. You will actively be involved in new business initiatives and development / enhancement projects on existing services.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Minimum 8 - 10 years relevant experience in Business Consulting, Management Consultant or Client Relationship Management gained from the Payment industry
- Experience in Management Consulting firms, Retail Banking and Credit Card companies with exposure to Payments and Cash Management solutions would also be considered
- Project Management and / or Technical background with Client-facing skills would be advantageous
- Experience in delivering business strategies and managing projects
- Strong analytical, negotiation skills with ability to identify business opportunities
- Excellent communicator with fluency in English and ideally Cantonese and / or Mandarin
