Job Description

As part of the larger Global Technology Operations (GTO) Chief Operating Office organization in Asia, the Business Control Monitoring Readiness (BCMR) team governs and manages operational risks (people, process, systems, and external event risks) and controls across the various GTO units in Asia Pacific. This regional team interfaces between the global GTO COO team and regional TO units, as well as with regional risk partners in the business, Corporate Operational Risk, Compliance, and Corporate Audit.

Responsibilities

Leading a team to

a. Govern the enterprise risk management process in Asia. Drive the implementation and maintenance of governance frameworks, processes, and controls in Asia.

b. Continually lower the overall operational risk profile of Asia TO.

c. Identify, assess, and remediate key region-wide cross-divisional operational risks.

d. Drive risk culture and awareness regionally.

e. Manage the regional risk council.

f. Provide visibility into regional risks and mitigation to regional and global stakeholders, through prompt and appropriate management reporting.

g. Conduct periodic Risk Control Self Assessment for Asia TO.

h. Provide Risk subject matter expertise in support of regulatory requests and exams.

i. Ensure globally regionally-consistent and quality-assured responses to regional and global regulators.

j. Implement and drive risk metrics program regionally.

k. Provide regional leadership and perspective in global forums.
