VP – Business Finance Manager, Investment Banking recruitment
The Finance Manager is responsible for partnering with the Front Office in Asia-Pacific by providing meaningful analysis to facilitate decision making, financial and management reporting, monitoring business performance and managing costs.
- You will own and present the Financials for Asia-Pacific business, providing advice, independent challenge and alternative thinking on business strategy
- You will also act as the coordinator with other key Finance functions be responsible for the definition and ownership of the control infrastructure and Financial reporting requirements
- Manage the delivery of financial information to clients on a monthly and ad hoc basis according to demands
- Engage with the business groups for target setting, strategic planning, forecasting and review exercises
- Drive overall cost management discussions/strategies with the business and outline key cost variances /trends and outliers
- Drive value added analysis for assessing alternatives related to business opportunities and strategies based on competitor and opportunity analysis
- Engage appropriate groups on any NPA/ new transaction/product/business/entity related discussions and provide overall Finance sign-off
- Face off as the first point of contact for key Finance clients and manage their demands/partnering relationships
- Provide input to the Change Management team in relation to implementation of tactical and strategic initiatives as they affect Finance
You will have an Accounting qualification (CPA/ACA) with 10 years post qualified experience in a Finance, Control or other Analytical area within a financial institution and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of financial products, preferably in the Global Markets/Investment Banking sector.
