Job Description
Reporting to the APAC Head of Operations Management based in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the COO function heads and Asia managers to develop/refine performance metrics and provide business analysis
- Oversee the Hong Kong Financial Head-count budget and the annual planning process; financial variances to ensure ongoing alignment with business priorities
- Develop approaches and management presentations, which include business plans, operating goals, and strategic initiatives
- Facilitate communication programs including senior manager meetings, town halls, on sites, and speaker series
- Review and provide head-count analysis reporting to senior management in Asia
- Also includes involvement in the re-forecasting process and weekly head-count approvals to Op Comm
- Will be an active participant in the Asia/Hong Kong wide initiatives Partner with senior Asia Ops Mgmt to determine hiring strategies training Develop, refine, and maintain an allocation model for expenses charged to the business
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you must have a minimum of 10 years work experience in major financial institutions or consultancy firms. You should have a broad understanding of the inner workings of an investment/private bank more specifically in an operations capacity; An accounting background would be helpful as business analysis, P/L and financial analysis will be part of this role. You should be mature, well educated and have the capacity to work with people at a senior level of management.
