VP - Hands-On C++ Senior Solutions IT Architect / Relationship Manager
Job Description:
Trading Technology needs a Senior Architect/Relationship Manager in New York to:
• Lead Common Solution products in New York
• Be the single point of contact to the Investment Banking IT Architecture team
• Work with IB Architecture to finalize Common Solution Strategy to align with overall IT IB Strategy.
• Interface with all senior managers in NY to design, evolve, deliver and implement common solutions products.
Deliverables Include:
• Enhance and maintain the target state architecture for Trading Technology.
• Gather, analyze, and publish the requirements for the Common Solutions domain,
• Work with the clients and other users to identify then develop the roadmap to fulfill required unmet needs,
• Work with the common solutions team globally to design and develop software to build and enhance the common solutions platform.
• Manage relationships in New York with 2nd/3rd level support coverage for the platform including interface with TIS and Support, QA.
• Hours: Communication would be needed with other locations globally which requires early mornings and/or late evenings.
Qualifications:
• 10-15 years' experience with engineering background and architecture experience
• Effective communication / presentation / networking skills
• Previous Hands-on C++ development experience would lend itself to the knowledge needed to serve as the point of contact when it comes to Business Stakeholder and Relationship Management
• Highly innovative to develop common products
• Experience in low latency trading applications is desired
• Knowledge of trading flows key functions in an Investment Bank
