Position Summary:

The VP, Capital Markets will be responsible for sourcing debt financing for real estate and real estate related investments.  Will work with deal teams to identify appropriate lenders and as a resource expert on loan terms. The VP, Capital Markets will not be responsible for directly negotiating or closing transactions (this will remain the responsibility of the deal teams).

Responsibilities Include:

•    Oversee and manage financial partner relationships; developing and tracking financing initiatives, maximizing leverage from partners and safeguarding those relationships

•    Research, identify and develop new partnering strategies to expand the scope and depth of financing relationships

•    Work with deal teams to develop financing strategies individually by portfolio investments and globally

•    Strategize with Investments team to mitigate any issues related to 3rd Party Debt

Educational/Experience Requirements (including certifications, licenses, etc):

•    Bachelors Degree in Finance or related field; MBA, CFA/CPA preferred

•    Minimum 5 years progressive work experience in real estate debt capital markets

•    Experience with financial modeling

•    Proven established relationships
