Key Responsibilities:
JPMorgan is seeking an Operations Manager to join our Cash Operations team for our Treasury Services division in Hong Kong. Specific duties include:
Description
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Hong Kong Cash Operations team
- Develops, recommends and executse business plans for the Operations team
- Responsible for the direction and training of staff in order to build and maintain a quality team of motivated, capable professionals performing to their full potential
- Allocates and coordinates resources and handles personnel related issues within the parameters of the firm's policy
- Exhibits a full knowledge and thorough understanding of the entire operations functions
- Keeps abreast of new technologies and applications and their implications for assigned area
- Support the business location strategy, seeking all opportunities to hub or de-hub processes as appropriate whilst maintaining resiliency capabilities at all times
- Coordinate with processing hubs that supporting Hong Kong Cash Operations to ensure they provide quality services to support the business
- Recognize and drive regional improvement opportunities arising from local situations
- Build exceptional relationships with business partners and stakeholders
- Represent the business on cross LOB forums and working groups in the location
Skills
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin speaking an added advantage.
- Proven leadership qualities and ability to use appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to motivate and build a cohesive team for achieving department goals and objectives
- Ability of identify opportunities and promptly initiate action and escalate potential risks to minimize loss
- Willingness to take ownership and responsibility to accomplish goals
- Commitment to providing high standards of quality client service
- Understanding of and experience in payment, deposit and liquidity products
- Ability to use appropriate interpersonal style and methods to effectively address and manage conflict issues
