Our client, a leading investment bank, is looking for a high calibre individual to join their growing regional Regulatory Reporting team in the Compliance department.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Responsible for the monitoring and daily production of non-financial regulatory reporting in Asia including S181, Substantial Shareholding, Short Selling etc.
- Provide guidance and advice on matters relating to internal trading restrictions, trade clearance, Takeovers and IPOs
- Act as point of contact and handle inquiries and investigations from regulators within the region
- Enhance existing monitoring and reporting platforms and be aware of regulatory developments regionally and participate in implementation of new regulatory initiatives.
- Analyse and review firm-wide holdings in the region and ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements
- Assess the obligation to disclose shareholdings and ensure the accuracy, completeness and timely submission of the disclosures
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Law or related discipline
- Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience within an investment banking environment
- Strong knowledge of APAC regulatory requirements
- Ability to deal with the business and senior management
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English and Chinese
