VP, Commodities Credit Risk Officer

Some of the responsibilities within the role will include:

• Having the primary responsibility for underwriting, documenting and booking new credit requests within the Commodities portfolio for Corporate Clients involving various products

• Thorough financial analysis of the corporate borrowers and cash flow modelling.

• Ensuring timely submission of approval documents and monitoring documents, key risk reviews, and other reports. Recommending changes to risk ratings in a timely manner.

• Continued monitoring of the exposure for the existing portfolio

• Ensuring adherence to prevailing credit policy.

• Developing a detailed understanding of the products offered by the Bank

• Ensuring a working understanding of relevant legal documents, including credit trading agreements.

• Building excellent relationships with other areas of the Bank helping to maximise the opportunities across client relationships

• Mentoring and coaching junior members of the team.

It is essential that you have substantial Energy or Commodities experience and previous Credit Analysis experience including outstanding analytical skills. Any previous experience within Project Finance or Infrastructure Finance is advantageous.
