VP, Commodities Product Controller – Metals recruitment
Front office growth has necessitated the recruitment of a Senior Product Controller to be responsible for staff management and daily profit loss and risk production / reporting.
This is an exciting opportunity to take your Commodities Product Control career forwards within an ambitious, market-leading Investment Bank.
Duties responsibilities include:
- Daily PL production and reporting for the Metals desk
- Staff management responsibilities
- Reconcile PL with General ledger, control any breaks and produce explain
- Daily liaison with the desk/traders to ensure PL controlled as effectively as possible
- Liaison with business partners across Front Office, Operations and Market Risk among others
- Involvement with ongoing project work related to systems testing/integration, operating model implementation and the enhancement of controls and efficiencies
Profile required:
- Exposure to Commodities products – specifically precious and base Metals Commodities products (in a line PL role or otherwise)
- Ideally knowledge of greeks break down / PL explain
- Ideally in possession of accounting skills and/or qualification
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills / experience
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Access skills
