VP, Compliance Manager recruitment
An exciting position exists for a senior compliance professional to join a very reputable and established bank in Singapore. Reporting to the head of compliance, this position comes with an attractive work scope, excellent remuneration package and is primarily focused on the Corporate and Investment Banking business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide timely compliance advice to management and business units on local regulations, laws, policies and the impact these have on the business ensuring complete control and commitment to local requirements at all times, including new product reviews and advice;
- Review the Bank’s internal policies, procedures and guidelines in order to ensure they are in accordance with the requirements of local laws, rules and regulations and implementing said policies, procedures and guidelines;
- Organize and conduct internal compliance training to employees regularly or in accordance with local requirements;
- Maintain regular contact with the regulatory authorities.
To be successful in this position you must have:
- At least 10 years’ experience in a similar role within a Corporate or Investment bank;
- Strong knowledge of MAS/SGX rules and regulations;
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
