VP Compliance Private Equity recruitment
Scope
Contribute to ensuring functions of compliance within Private Equity are carried out in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and are smoothly carried out without interruptions or problems.
Ensure that the rules and procedures for compliance as outlined in the Compliance Manual are being followed, especially with issues like money laundering, due diligence on clients, know your client process.
Assist reporting for Compliance
Corporate housekeeping for Asia
Contract Review for Asia
Marketing materials review for Asia.
Carry out client acceptance process for new and existing accounts
Implement procedures where necessary to satisfy regulatory and Head Office directives and policies relative to Private Equity.
Co-ordinate, prepare and submit half yearly reporting’s to head Office and other periodic reporting’s.
Carry out Compliance monitoring
Provide backup where required.
Requirements
- Good knowledge of products and services provided by business and relevant regulatory requirements for Compliance.
- 10 + years of experience in Private Equity or Investment Banking.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Do contract review
- Law degree preferred but not essential
- Must work well with people and able to take pressure
- Familiar with operating in control environment.
- Analytical mind and attention to details
- Open to overseas candidates.
