VP – Cost Allocation recruitment

A FTSE100 Investment Bank seeks to attract an exceptional individual to design and lead the implementation of a new Cost Attribution model across the Operations function.  Working within a high profile division, the role will identify stakeholder requirements across Front Office and Senior Management within Operations, demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of current Cost management practices and deliver a strategic roadmap, providing increased transparency and cost control while supporting targeted decision making within the Operations function.  The role will also interact with other areas of the business, ensuring alignment with the wider cost management landscape and acting as a centre of “thought leadership” for cost allocation strategy and implementation across the business as a whole.   Owing to the strategic nature of this position, the successful individual must have prior experience of designing and implementing Cost Attribution/ABC models within a large, complex environment.  Experience within a FTSE 100 Investment Bank would be advantageous however applications from other large, complex businesses will be considered.  The role is intended to manage the end to end embedding of a new allocation model, consequently candidates should have prior experience of both setting high level cost strategy as well as directly driving said strategy’s implementation.  Experience of influencing MD level stakeholders and managing project teams through a matrix structure are also highly desirable.
