Job Description
The Singapore Compliance team is responsible for executing the compliance program for the Corporate and Investment Banking, and Global Markets businesses within the banking and brokerage entities in Singapore. The team works with the respective lines of business and legal entity management to ensure that business is conducted in compliance with the applicable laws, regulations and compliance policies.
The individual in this position will support the Country Compliance Head in Singapore in executing the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Providing compliance training as necessary
- Drafting and reviewing policies and procedures
- Providing advice on compliance policies
- Participating in new product reviews
- Reviewing outsourcing arrangements
- Partnering with business and entity management in managing regulatory reporting obligations
- Maintain a broad knowledge of the Corporate and Investment Banking, and Global Markets businesses in Singapore and the regulatory framework in which it operates
- Develop relationships with the respective lines of business and entity management as well as support functions to keep abreast of current business developments and regulatory issues that may impact the risk environment of the Firm
Requirements
- 8+ years of compliance/regulatory/audit/risk management/control function experience
- Experience with a Corporate and/or Investment Bank is preferred.
- Knowledge of MAS/SGX rules and regulations is required.
