VP, Credit Analyst - Credit Portfolio Management $90K-$110K
Prestigious International Financial Firm seeks a VP to assist Portfolio Manager in formulating team’s middle and long-term hedge plan and trading strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Responsible to manage and monitor individual corporate credit of portfolio.
- Conduct credit analysis of US, European and Latin American Corporates and formulate hedge plan and credit reports to implement plans.
- Respond to Head Office inquiries.
- Conduct research into regulations, laws, market rules, systems and any other issues related to credit derivatives.
- Develop and upgrade bank’s credit portfolio management techniques.
- Develop and upgrade system infrastructure.
- Support team leader in audits, on/offsite monitoring and investigations by internal and external auditors.
Requirements:
- BS degree Finance , Business or Economics; MBA a plus
- Superior knowledge and experience of markets and credit analysis
- Experience of credit analysis for European Corporate highly preferred
- Experience in credit derivatives or fixed income business
- Must have or complete CFA level 1. CFA Chaterholder highly preferred
- Candidate required to trade single name CDS and CDX
- Highly motivated, proactive, creative and flexible
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior experience managing junior staff
