VP-Credit Risk Analysis-Private Bank recruitment

Our client is looking to hire a dynamic and self-motivated private banking credit risk analyst to join the growing and dynamic busines. The incumbent will identify, assess and mitigate risk exposures through appropriate reviews and controls activities.

Roles Responsibilities:

Identify key risk areas in lending to high networth individuals and their related companies for booking in Asia and to ensure compliance with credit policy.
Perform credit reviews and approval of applications, including biennial/annual reviews as well as exercising sound judgement during top-up / close-out situations.

To analyze and provide advice to Relationship Managers on credit policy issues and credit structures, ensuring that the final credit proposal to be presented for approval is mutually acceptable.

Provide clear and concise risk advice detailing risks involved, highlight shortfalls (including documentation gaps) as well as compliance with previous conditions and outline recommendations.

Active participation in development of credit policies, products and processes to meet changing market competition without comprising risk position of the Bank.

Drive, review and streamline credit processes
Review of facility documentation with fundamental appreciation of legal regulatory issues relating to PB lending.

Monitor margin call and limit excess accounts, ensure that margin call letters are duly issued and margin call accounts are rectified by Business within stipulated period allowed

Requirements:
Degree in Banking / Accountancy / Finance qualifications

At least 7 years of credit experience in Private Banking, covering diverse aspects of risk management. Knowledge of investment, credit risk products, credit processing,documentation and risk monitoring

Strong inter-personal and communication skills

Good team player
