VP Credit Risk Officer –Middle Markets Job in New York City 10038, New York US
Our client, an international banking firm, located in NYC, is currently seeking a Credit Risk Officer (VP level) with experience in middle market lending. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in credit risk management, and Basel II. Competitive compensation package includes base salary commensurate with experience, plus bonus, and benefits.
Major Responsibilities:
- Monitor the portfolio performance of bank credits
- Identify “at risk” credits and provide guidance on remedial action plans
- Review accuracy and provide guidance on all prospective credit requests
- Assist management in portfolio review activities or other ad hoc projects
- Provide input into the Bank’s credit policy
- Train and mentor junior staff
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, advanced degrees/certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk management
- Experience working in middle market lending and knowledge of real estate and/or apparels industries
- Solid analytical skills
- Excellent communications
