VP- Credit Risk recruitment
Prestigious banking group with operations across the globe are currently seeking an experienced Credit Risk specialist with proven management experience to join them in a highly visible Vice President of Credit Approvals.
The Vice President of Credit Approvals will have responsibility for maintaining the credit risk standards of the group as well as the ongoing development and management of the credit risk team.
Specific duties of the Vice President of Credit Approvals will include:
-Adjudicating the group's largest corporate and private banking credits locally and of their overseas subsidiaries
-Exercising approval authority within designated credit limits
-Making recommendations to the executive management team
-Assuming ownership of the credit risk process including the implementation of procedures and risk assessments
-Preparation of loan portfolio reports
-Monitoring and reporting on unsatisfactory conditions or trends within the group credit portfolio
For this senior management level role our client is looking for individuals with the following:
-University education
-Solid background in credit risk management
-Minimum of 10 years banking experience
-Proven experience of managing teams
-In depth knowledge of collateral security issues
-Experience of financial structuring and loan documentation
