VP CREDIT SALES, LONDON & GERMANY recruitment
With a historic name and an established footprint globally the bank are looking to add an established person to the London set up. The ideal person will have a track record in high yield and financial bond sales and an excellent background of success in this area.
Working within an experienced sales set up in London as well as internationally, the role will focus on the following areas:
- Selling fixed income products to institutional investors across France OR Benelux OR Germany (or all) and other EMEA regions – with a key focus on Asset managers, hedge funds, banks, pension funds, insurance companies as well as other financial institutions globally.
- Selling a range of fixed income products or specialising in a niche area of fixed income to include either High Yield, investment grade AND/OR Financial products include covered bonds and other financials.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Work closely with the origination team to build a unified fixed income pod with a strong team ethos.
- Work with Sales Management to identify key clients and arrange respective client visits.
- Focus on developing priority clients, i.e. Tier 1 and Tier 2 client list.
- Create footprint with and produce strong revenues from the groups fixed income sales client base.
- Identify client trends and themes and keep Management and peers abreast of changing landscapes.
Idea generation
- Maintain a balance between good margin product and other trades beneficial to the bank.
- Developement of further revenue streams.
Person Specification
- Consistent pattern of employment with specific experience of selling fixed income credit based products
- Demonstrable investor footprint and profitability
- Experience of working in a team environment
- Technical Knowledge/Skills in the credit space
- Clear macro economic and political global views
- Detailed understanding of credit other fixed income instruments
- Excellent investor relationships i.e. financial institutions (listed above)
Qualifications
- Experience working in an investment bank or agency brokerage in a similar role.
