VP / D level Controllers required for IB Front Office Business Management Group

The individual should be comfortable moving away from a top tier institution and in to an IB that would be seen as being much smaller, but certainly rapidly expanding both in Europe and Asia.

The roles are part of the Front Office headcount and are pseudo-Business Management positions covering all businesses. The function implements new procedures and policies across those businesses (from an Operational Risk, regulatory, supervisory, surveillance perspective etc.) and act as a controls focused function, not a reporting function. Individuals therefore act as internal Consultants for the business.

We are looking for individuals from Finance that have been heavily exposed to the desk / business. You should be able to work with both a high level controls and risk mindset, in addition to being part of a small, specialist function that have exposure across the whole bank. VP or Director level Product Controllers that have hopefully gone on from pure line management roles in to a role that is perceived as being more high level, strategic or FO facing would be a good fit. Current VP level accountants in Operational Risk or Internal Audit fucntions could also be considered given that they have strong derivatives product knowledge.

The client is offering a Front Office package so compensation should not be a hurdle when hiring the correct individual for the role.
