Our client is an established International Banking Group with an expanding Private Banking arm. In response to the Bank's increasing risk control measures for the Asia lending businesses, a newly created opportunity has arisen for an experienced Program / Project Manager to join the Change Management Team for the Private Banking division in a 6-month Contract to Permanent role, based in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Head of Change Management, you will lead regional and global project teams focusing on Lending and Credit Products programs in order to drive increased competitiveness for the business. You will be involved in various projects including the design and implementation of a global pricing model for credit products, loan-to-value agreements against different and growth market-based assets as well as leveraging and Lombard lending. You will have responsibilities from business model design, approval to implementation. In addition, you will manage stakeholder relationships across divisions and countries in Asia and Europe and be accountable for the full project life cycle from end to end for various projects within the larger change portfolio. Such duties will include business cases and project definition development, project design and planning, project reporting, risk management, cost and benefits assessment, coaching and training. You will be part of the senior change management community, responsible for building project teams in the region and helping to create a resourceful project managers pool.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- Minimum 12 to 15+ years relevant change / program management experience gained from the financial services sector
- Proven track record of leading and delivering complex, cross-location, regional / global change programs
- Strong familiarity to and practical knowledge of program management methodologies / tools
- Proven experience in managing full project life cycle
- Knowledge of lending and credit products suite and operations
- Exposure to Lombard Lending would be highly advantageous but not a must
- Team leadership and management experience
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
