VP | Distressed Debt & Special Situations CHINA Investment | Singapore recruitment
Our client employs a full spectrum of special-situation and distressed debt investments. They create financial and operating restructurings that will allow their companies to succeed.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be based in Singapore with a working alongside the regional strategy team while also making regular on-the-ground visits to China.
- Managing entire China distressed-debt and special situation financing portfolio
- Full end-to-end on the ground leadership of distressed situations
- Contributing to strategic asset plan for key assets across the China region
- Sourcing, financial due diligence and analysis of potential assets
- Execution and monitoring of China focus deals
- Financial Modeling for earnings forecast and valuation
- Contributing to business plans on leasing strategy and capital expenditure
Skills/Personal Attributes Required:
- International MBA
- Must have experience speaking business Mandarin to board level
- Must be able to present in English to international investment committee
- Investment valuation and management experience
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- CPA / CFA qualifications preferred
- Strong financial background
- Experience managing both public / private equity
- Experience of debt financing and distressed situations
- Confident communications essential
- Fluency in English required
