VP ENERGY / AVP ENERGY / PORTFOLIO ENERGY / INVESTMENT / DEAL EVALUATION
Our client, a global wealth management firm is currently recruiting for a VP to join their Portfolio Strategy Group, supporting the Senior VP’s in Energy deal evaluation, portfolio work and internal strategy projects.
Responsibilities will include developing an independent view of Energy investment proposals, based on primary and desk research. Monitor the progress of the overall portfolio as well as specific investments. Occasionally assist with engagements to improve the operations of investee companies. Work on projects related to portfolio, sector analysis and other initiatives. Provide in-depth perspective and point of view on divestment recommendation. This role will be a split between deal assessment / diligence and strategy and risk so is not a frontline role.
The successful candidate will have highly developed skills in the areas of Energy industry and financial analysis. The ability to work effectively across organisational groups. Experienced in building financial models for valuations and financial returns analysis. You will have at least 6 years Energy experience within one of the following areas, Asset Management; Strategy or Risk unit in a financial services firm or a top tier consulting firm focusing on investment strategy or risk. You will possess a degree from a top tier university and an MBA or equivalent from highly reputed institution. You must also be fluent
