VP- Engagement Manager, Recovery and Resolution Planning, Investment Banking recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Act as Recovery and Resolution Planning liaison for Business Unit participants, ensuring completeness of gathered business level data/information required to advance program initiatives.
• Represent program to corporate stakeholders- verify accuracy of memos/communications directed towards individual business units, ensuring focus of information and data best reflects needs of the Business/function involved.
• Ensure all stakeholder issues and requirements are met in coordination with leadership in program management office.
• Represent Design team in arranging responses to requirements gathered from Business unit stakeholders
• Manage the timing of activities at business units to ensure deliverables meet milestones in program plan
• Generate buy-in and act as sounding board for senior level business unit representatives
• Consult business unit stakeholder on corporate structure activities and resolution plan.
• Ensure broad awareness and participation in project and generate support for complete business unit commitment to project.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and report key issues, concepts and activities to stakeholders
• Contribute to Resolution and Recovery Planning initiative and regularly report updates and key communications to the team engagement manager.
Qualifications:
• 8-15 years of experience with a combination of accounting, operations, finance or IT functions within a large institution
• Demonstrated expertise working on mission critical projects in a Financial Services corporation, exposure to resolution recovery plans a plus.
• Proven experience of contributing to a complex design and implementation project
• Appreciation of external regulatory developments as they relate to risk management, specific Dodd-Frank experience not necessary
• Able to work quickly in a changing environment while maintaining focus on accuracy and excellence.
• Ability to execute at speed and deliver with accuracy
• A common-sense approach to problem solving with an ability to summarize a complex situation in a simple, communicable manner.
• Experience analyzing complex situations and problems and drafting findings into direct and powerful reports/presentations for executive audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to generate influence and manage top-level relationships across diverse groups of stakeholders.
• Strong awareness of corporate politics and the dynamic of a large, complex organization.
