VP Equity Research - Natural Resources - Investment House - Hong Kong
My client is a Hong Kong based Investment House who are looking to add a VP Equity Analyst to there team. The individual will have a strong background covering Natural Resources across the Asia Markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus upon Oil Gas or Metals Mining.
This is an excellent opportunity for Senior Equity Analyst with particular focus upon the natural resources to join an investment house who is aggressively expanding its coverage and depths in different sectors and markets.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years experience in fundamental equity research with a strong focus across Natural resources, ideally Oil Gas. My client is looking for candidates who can complete detailed fundamental analysis across the natural resources sector. The ideal candidates will have worked for a top tier institution in the natural resources team with a strong equity research background across.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth of analysis of the natural resources equity market
- Work with a senior panel or board to decide on the next steps for the business
- Manage a team of analysts and ensure they are progressing to their desired levels by keeping them driven or motivated
- Be the newsbreaker for anything that happens in the finance sector locally, regionally and globally
- Key Requirements
- Graduate degree within Finance, Economics, Engineering or Business from a Tier-1 University
- A minimum of 8 years experience within a Equity Research capacity with a strong focus upon the China A share market
- Exceptional communication skills in English and
- Exceptional Quantitative and Qualitative Analytical capabilities
