VP, Finance Business Partner recruitment

Our client is a reputable and longest established Singapore bank with presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Greater China. They offer a comprehensive range of specialist financial and wealth management services with strong market capitalisation and have more than 20,000 employees globally.

This role is based in Singapore. He/She will identify business opportunities and risks with in depth financial analysis and active partnering with business.

Job Responsibilities:

•     Provide perspective on business results, performance commentary and variance analysis in business reviews

• Participate in the preparation of key financial presentations to senior management and business

•  Design and maintain early warning systems for performance management, ensuring accurate advance warning for all financial result

• Develop Product/Segment/Branch PL

• Support the sales organisations in providing sales performance analysis

• Proactively interface with business to obtain market data to perform competitors analysis and benchmarking

• Provide Flash and Forecast to management to provide financial visibility

• Proactively manage risks and opportunities

• Working closely with business partners to ensure sustainable profitability of the business

•  Involve in preparation of Operating Plan and Strategic Plan

•  Coordinate the month end process in conjunction with finance and business teams to ensure all financials are accurately reflected in the financial statements

• Provide finance support and financial analysis to business, marketing sales

• Produce financial modelling, what if and sensitivity analysis for new business/initiatives

•  Proactively carry out value-added analysis on financial data

•  Drive continuous learning by performing post-implementation financial analyses on past initiatives

•  Organizational Collaboration and Best Practice Sharing

•  Setting pricing guidelines

•  Review marketing programs, incentive schemes and new initiatives

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Business

• Possesses strong analytical skills to perform financial modeling, sensitivity analysis and what-if scenarios

• Good interpersonal and communication skills and possesses strong  ability to interact with business partners

• Keen business sense with good understanding of business, products and competition

• Strong learning agility and adaptability
