Leading Investment Bank is looking to recruit a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CA) with a background in Transaction Banking. You will be a primary point of contact for the business heads and will support the UK Finance Manager and European Finance Manager and will be expected to liaise directly with senior stakeholders and become a trusted advisor to them.
You will focus on providing value added financial and non-finance analysis, business solutions and the ownership of the validation and control oversight of offshore produced Profit and Loss(PL) and risk.
Provide innovative solutions to business requirements, review new structures and business opportunities. To work closely with the businesses and Analytics to help develop accurate forecasts and plans, to challenge new product initiatives to ensure that business assumptions are accurate.
Review offshore produced PL and risk data produced by service centres. Monitor key performance indicators (KPI) performance and develop a thorough understanding of the products and business drivers. This includes attribution, PL, Balance sheet and Risk Weighted Asset (RWA) analysis.
Should possess a strong knowledge of financial products and a proven background in being able to network across the functions of an investment bank.
