Leading Investment Bank is looking for a VP Finance Manager  with a strong background in Liquidity to provide oversight and challenge to the financial resource usage for bank as a whole and incorporate Business specific support; providing insight, using financial analysis and meaningful commentary for balance sheet performance, covering ratios, individual asset variance, netting US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and leverage targets, together with liquidity and regulatory analysis; including drill-down on specific large or unusual exceptions, period-on-period change explanation. This can be at business, desk, trader or book levels and down to individual trades, or clients as necessary.

In addition, you will have responsibilities for leadership on balance sheet management techniques, the design, build-out and continuing development of performance reporting.

The role will primarily be ad hoc and project driven but with an element of recurring work, and as such, the individual needs to be flexible and adapt to changing environments and needs.

Work with the business to manage the level of the balance sheet. Within the Finance/Business Joint Venture, deliver and manage business targets and plan.

The role would suit an individual who is able to think laterally and creatively, and can work to deliver solutions with incomplete information and on timely basis.

 

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CA) with a strong background in Liquidity, Balance Sheet Regulatory from a leading Investment Bank, Could currently be in Product Control, Financial Control or Regulatory Reporting.
