VP Finance Manager – Credit IPV / Product Control / Structured Transactions – Leading Investment Bank

Leading Investment Bank is looking for a VP Finance Manager with a background in IPV / Product Control, looking at new European Credit / Global Emerging Markets structured transactions and other new business arising in these areas. You will play a key role in supporting Credit / Emerging Markets Finance Directors and the Front Office.

You will support sign-off on all new product approvals, legal entity committee approvals and structured transactions and ensure all appropriate due diligence is undertaken on structured transactions, NPAs and Acquisitions/Disposals and challenge when necessary.

Have a good understanding of products and economics of the structured activity, valuations, accounting, regulatory, booking/control issues, business case challenge, any issues arising from other infrastructure partners.

This is a broad but technical role which will provide a potential candidate with breadth and depth of knowledge across the global Investment Bank.

You will effectively communicate key issues and challenges to key stakeholders and Senior Finance Management for structured transactions. You will provide support and recommendations to the business and senior members of Finance with regards to new structures and business opportunities that will help maximize shareholder wealth. You will explain quarterly and annual performance to senior management in terms of revenues and use of resources such as capital and balance sheet.

Fantastic opportunity for a strong individual with a background in Credit / Emerging Markets IPV Product Control who has experience in performance legal entity, product approvals, structured transactions, goal setting, business case development, and stakeholder management.

Should possess outstanding academics, numeracy, IT literacy and communication skills. Most importantly the potential to rapidly add value in this extremely switched on environment. Achieving top quartile academics ACA FTP, 1st Class Degree and A/B’s at A level along with strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
