Leading Investment Bank is looking for a VP Finance Manager / Finance Director with a background from Global Equity Derivatives Product Control / Financial Control.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be the primary representative within Finance for Global Equity Derivatives, you will join the bank at a relatively senior level and make an immediate contribution while also learning the specific content knowledge and skills to a sales and trading business within capital markets
As Finance Manager / Finance Director for Global Equity Derivatives you will perform a key business partnership function with Senior Equity Derivatives Business heads and will typically focus on one or more desks within the regional business.
The Equity area has under gone large expansion so significant development has taken place you will be involved in bedding in the new process while supporting the business.
You will effectively communicate key issues and challenges to key stakeholders and Senior Finance Management for Equity Derivatives products. You will provide support and recommendations to the business and senior members of the Bank Front Office and Finance with regards to new structures and business opportunities that will help maximize shareholder wealth. You will explain quarterly and annual performance to senior management in terms of revenues and use of resources such as capital and balance sheet.
You will provide insight using financial analysis and meaningful commentary for business performance with areas covered including revenue, risk, capital, balance sheet, RWA, economic capital and costs. This can be at business, desk, trader or book levels and down to individual trades, or clients as appropriate.
The role will involve some ad-hoc and projects therefore you will need to be flexible and adapt to changing environments and needs. On this basis, the role would suit an individual who is able to think laterally and creatively, and can work to deliver solutions with incomplete information and in a timely fashion.
The products offered globally include flow and exotic derivatives, corporate and private equity solutions, fund and hybrid derivatives. You should have strong background in Equity Derivatives Product Control / Financial Control with understanding of pricing, IPV valuations.
Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or CA) or similar e.g. MBA, CFA with first time passes
