VP, Finance Manager recruitment
Our client is a leading financial institution with a growing presence in Asia. An opportunity has arisen for a VP supporting the Finance Director and COO to join the Finance team in Hong Kong.
Managing the financial accounting, management accounting, regulatory reporting and tax compliance for the South East Asia region, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating with the outsourcing team for the daily accounting of transactions
- Preparing annual financial statements (HK GAAP)
- Monitoring the capital position on a regular basis
- Finalising monthly management accounts and financial statements
- Filing regulatory returns (to the SFC)
- Dealing with tax and audit issues
The successful candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in securities or investment banking
- Post graduate in Accounting or Finance (or a relevant Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA etc)
- Sound knowledge of regulatory capital
- Working knowledge of HK GAAP and IFRS
- Advanced knowledge of IT software packages (Oracle, Hyperion, MS Office etc)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven team management skills
