VP Financial Controller recruitment
FPSG Connect are working in partnership with a very well known and respected financial services organisation to recruit an executive VP Financial Controller for the company offices on the Isle of Man.
The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the end to end financial accounting and control activity; regulatory reporting and capital management; statutory and management reporting for the legal entity together with specific project responsibilities arising from the companies change agenda.
You as the ideal candidate will:-
- Have experience or knowledge of a large financial services finance function and how it operates coupled with a good understanding of accounting principles and core finance processes.
- Have strong technical financial accounting and reporting knowledge (IFRS, US GAAP) gained within the financial services industry or leading accountancy practice.
- Be educated to degree level or above, preferably in a numeric/accountancy/finance related discipline and will also be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Have a strong attention to detail and will be creative, but pragmatic in approach, with an ability to conceptualise and deliver at speed to agreed deadlines across a diverse workload.
