VP Financial Crime Controls and Governance

A global top tier investment bank is looking to recruit for an VP to join the Financial Crime Controls and Governance team that implements a framework to meet the requirements of anti-money laundering, anti-terrorism, anti-bribery and corruption and economic sanctions laws and regulation.

You will be a key member of the Oversight and Controls team globally with responsibility for systems and processes across the bank.

Responsibilities:

-Day to day Operations of AML Transaction Monitoring Systems
-System performance is monitored and exceptions managed through to completion
-Identification, recording and monitoring of Key Indicators on behalf of Oversight Controls
-Ensuring that appropriate stakeholder review meetings are conducted
-Responsible for the completion of Risk Assessments and delivery of audit actions on behalf of the function
-Maintain controls to verify list coverage and usage is effective for Customer and Payments Sanctions
-Work with Customer and Payments, change functions to impact assess potential changes and provide expert support
-Management of the relationship with third party solution providers, including SLA’s and commercial discussions
-Proactive engagement with industry experts and solution providers to manage regulatory list changes seamlessly
Skills:

-Ideal candidate must have a detailed technical understanding of AML Transaction Monitoring, Customer or Payment Sanctions solutions including external and internal list management
-Considerable Financial Crime experience in a supervisory position is also a must
-You should be able to Demonstrate managerial experience focusing on developing and implementing consistent support and controls processes for Financial Crime environment along with a sound understanding of the current regulatory environment
