VP Fixed Income Financial Controller recruitment

Our client, a leading investment bank, currently seeks a VP Credit Financial Controller, to be based in London

The VP Financial Controller will be part of the Global Credit Financial Control team, and will be responsible for:
-Manage a small team within the Global Credit team Financial control team
-Perform and own the month-end close for specific businesses i.e MA:FA reconciliation for all products reflected within the Front office PnL's
-Distribution of the substantiations at an appropriate level for Senior Management review
-Production of FANFA (financial and non-financial data) from the group
-Liaison with external stakeholders to the Financial controlling function

As such, the successful VP Financial Controller will have the following skills and experience:
-Balance sheet substantiation - ensure all BS items are understood and explained. Any breaks between the SAP GL BS and Front Office positions must be investigated and resolved
-PnL reconciliation - ensure the SAP GL PnL ties back to the Front Office PnL. Any differences must be investigated and resolved
-Validation of Front to Back reconciliations for all products (including cash controls)
-FX Exposure Reporting
-Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
-Attention to detail
-Good excel/access experience
