VP Fixed Income Product Controller recruitment
Our client, a leading Investment Bank, currently seeks a VP Credit Product Controller, to be based in London
The VP Credit Product Controller, will be part of the finance function, and will be responsible for:
-Manage the production and analysis of daily PL, explanations, new deal activity and risk sensitivities. The team consists of 12 people who you will be in charge of managing on a day to day basis.
-Products covered will include: CDS of ABS and ABS Bonds, as well as the more structured books containing CDOs of ABS, CLOs, ABS tranches indices
-Focus of the role will be primarily on PL and Risk production, facing off to traders and other key stakeholders
-Month end process ensuring all month end requirements set by the Financial Control team are met, within a specified timetable
-Help develop the control and risk infrastructure to support the increasingly complex and challenging business environment together with provision of high quality business support to management
-Manage relationships with controlling management, financial control, middle office, legal, market risk management and the business in London
As such, the successful VP Credit Product Controller, will have the following skills and experience:
-Business/product control experience (ideally within credit or other derivatives areas)
-A Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA)
-Analytical skills
-Previous experience of managing a team
