VP Fixed Income Surveillance
Purpose of the role is to build and maintain a strong control environment for fixed income products buy establishing a best in class surveillance platform.
Main Duties
- Develop and maintain exception reports for Fixed Income products.
- Daily review of all Fixed Income Surveillance as reports
- Escalate potential erroneous transactions or policy breaches to management
- Compile monthly MI for senior management
- Work with IT to ensure all reports are functioning as expected and assist in the creation and testing of new surveillance reports as needed
Person Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of Fixed Income experience including a strong understanding of fixed income products such as Rates, Structured, Corporate Bonds, Municipals, and Derivatives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Compliance surveillance experience
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter with demonstrated organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
