VP for Europe

CAN BE BASED IN IRELAND OR UK
Key Responsibilities:
• Development of strategic plans to promote sales growth and advance service offering to meet changing customers’ needs.
• Demonstrate strong commercial and technical acumen to greater understand client’s business needs
• Hire, coach and motivate the team to identify and successfully close new business opportunities, through consultative selling, to continue to generate new revenue within their territory.  Ensure metric’s are met and continuously exceeded.
• Achieve and exceed sales quotas for both team and self, ensuring accurate and regular reporting of metric’s and performance deliverables.  Ensure proactive communications to the Executive team and local European management team.
• Support and strategically contribute to the marketing department in their lead generation activities and develop targeted campaigns to support the strategy in Europe.
Support the European business team to ensure success.

Skills, Experience Abilities:
• 10 plus years experience in the translation and localization industry, with at minimum 3 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets in a solution selling / technology environment both individually and through a team
• Strong experience of navigating the sales life cycle (lead generation through to business closing) to close large, corporate, long term deals
• Strategic, pro-active planner and forward thinker who is self motivated
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills, coupled with strong influencing skills.  Able to  fluently communicate in more than one European language  advantageous
• Enjoys travel and engaging with people from different cultures
