VP – Fund Controller-Private Equity Fund recruitment
Global Private Equity Firm with an established and growing presence in Asia – specifically Singapore – has a brand new opening for a VP– Private Equity Fund Accounting Operations role. This is a role to support Director of Operations in Singapore with more than USD5bn asset under their management focusing mainly in Emerging Markets.
The role will include but definitely not be limited to:
• Perform accounting matters for Private Equity Funds, including review of monthly/ quarterly management reporting, annual financial statements and GST returns
• Ensure that deadline are met
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, property managers and legal counsels
• Supervise and provide training to the team members
• Launch and setup of new funds
• Primary Relationship Manager to the stake holders and fund participants in REIT/Private Equity
• Reports to Director of Operations (Singapore)
This role requires an accountancy degree or post graduate qualification (CPA etc) and a good knowledge of US GAAP. ACCA background would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will come from a Private Equity Firm or Private Equity Fund Services Business where you have been a Manager for a minimum of 8yrs.
