VP FX Operations recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Leading a local team responsible for the FX Exotic settlements business
• FX Risk Manager for local team as well as NY Branch trades settled overseas
• Ability to interact with internal and external Clients, Traders and Global Operations Managers
• An exceptional understanding of the Foreign Exchange industry settlement practices
• Spearhead projects and process enhancements to support FX business
• Ability to perform multiple functions with simultaneous deadlines
• Provide superior client service while maintaining internal risk practices
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• KPI and KRI Reporting for department
• Development of all levels of staff experience and expertise
Requirements:
• 5+ years Operations management experience within a major international bank
• A track record of managerial success within an Operations Group
• Expertise with SWIFT messaging and payments
• Experience with FX settlement applications
• Understanding of Matching platforms (GTSS, MISYS, Swift Net Accord)
• Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Bachelor’s degree required
