VP Global Business Analyst – P&L & Product Control Finance Change Workstream recruitment
The role sits within the PL Production Workstream and the objective of this workstream is the delivery of a uniform daily fully attributed official PL for all trading businesses, with clear audit trail from initial trading flash estimates through to final PL.
This will include the design and implementation of a standardised PL workflow, standardised architecture and a consistent hand-off to upstream providers and downstream users of financial data. This is a global implementation across all business areas.
You will form the primary bridge between Business Users and the Development teams of which many may be located off-shore and sourced through external vendors. The role will encompass both traditional functional analysis and business process analysis, with a heavy emphasis on current state to future state re-engineering analysis. As a business analyst you will be aligned to the project objectives, with reporting lines and project milestones being a key objective Liaise with the key stakeholders to analyse and document the current business process model and capture of requirements
Must have extensive business analysis experience and detailed knowledge of the product control function and have a proven background with Product Control Change at a senior level and be good at building relationships with Product Controllers and with IT. Ideally a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CA) having spent several years with a product control line role before moving into Finance Transformation / Finance Change
Knowledge of the Finance/controlling domain and end-to-end workflow for a sales trading business i.e. interactions with front office, trade capture, PL risk, accounting reconciliations, IPV etc
